We had to stop at Boontjieskraal Farm after leaving Caledon and share the amazing story about the curse of Boontjieskraal. The road then took us to the incredible Dassiesfontein Farm Stall. Visiting this place was a really wonderful experience. We were absolutely gobsmacked by the size of it when we walked through it. They have so many things for sale, virtually everything under the sun. This farm stall is en route to Botrivier along the N2. It was raining as we entered Botrivier, a small village on the N2 just before you go over the Houwhoek Pass.
