The small town of Botrivier is situated at the foothills of the Houw Hoek Mountains in the Overberg Region of the Western Cape.  With the Bot River gently meandering through the village it is peaceful and quaint with a small population living here. 

En-route to Hermanus Botrivier sits perfectly in this fertile valley of historical wine farms and the wetlands of the lagoon.  The lagoon is perfect for trout fishing and to see the thousands of waterfowl that flock to the marshes.  The Houw Hoek Pass provides endless possibilities for mountain biking and hiking with chances of spotting the prolific wildlife found here.  Not to mention the incredible fynbos.
